Our next leadership camps are in Spring 2025, in-person in downtown Toronto and online
Promote competitive sports and build team-building skills by hosting a soccer tournament in your local community. Youth are living in a world filled with non-active distractions - break this cycle by bringing the community together and facilitating a soccer tournament!
This soccer tournament will help youth and/or children in different parts of a neighbourhood come together, make new friends, and have a great time playing soccer together.
This is beneficial for the community to reduce youth conflicts and improve friendly relationships with their peers. Through the soccer tournament, kids can come together and become friends.
You might have a bunch of friends who want to have a soccer tournament, and you can invite other community members to also join.
At the local community centre or park
On a Saturday morning during the summer
Contact community centres around the city that have gyms, or you can choose to have it in a public soccer field. Book a date.
Create and print a flyer. Post it around the neighbourhood and share it with friends on Instagram.
Get people to sign-up by texting or emailing, or filling out a Google Form.
Put players into teams. Create a tournament schedule.
Purchase a soccer ball and a bunch of drinks for the tournament (probably for around 20-30 people, but it's up to you how many you want).
