Video Game Hangout to Destress
Promote destressing activities for students by hosting a video game hangout that will allow youth to connect with each other. Many youths are stressed out during exam season, which ends up impacting their mental health. Break this cycle by bringing students together and hosting a fun gaming event that will help them destress!

Many high school, college, and university students are under a lot of stress during exam season. Having a video game hangout session will give students a space to destress and have a good time.
It will allow students of various ages and backgrounds to connect with one another in a stress-free environment.
You might have many students looking for the opportunity to destress near exam season. You can also invite others who want to connect with the youth of their community.

At a local gaming cafe
On a Saturday near the beginning of December
Suggested Action Plan
Find a gaming cafe that can accommodate this event. Book the venue. Or, bring your own video game console(s) and game(s).
Figure out what games will be available, or what games people want to play.
Create, print, and share flyers throughout local schools and the neighbourhood. Share the flyer on social media.
Get people to sign-up through text, email or Google Forms.
Purchase an adequate amount of snacks and drinks for those attending the event.
Run the event!
