Outdoor Nature Walk and Mental Health Talk
Connecting with nature provides a peaceful feeling; walking benefits an individual’s physical health; and talking about mental health promotes self-awareness and leads to healing. Help the members of your community be exposed to these helpful benefits by hosting an outdoor nature walk and talking about mental health!
How might this help your community?
This event is open to people of all ages and backgrounds who want to meet potential support systems and who need to improve their health. There are people who are seeking assistance for their health but are unsure of where to begin.
Over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, many people experienced mental health issues. It is beneficial to have events like this to support people because therapy and medication are not always affordable and accessible.
Through this project, you can help improve not only people’s mental health but also their physical health.
