Our next leadership camps are in Spring 2025, in-person in downtown Toronto and online
Promote community building, and environmentalism through hosting a sewing project event! Often, stuffed animals can go through wear and tear, but this shouldn't render them unusable. This is the opportunity to give ripped stuffed animals another chance while reducing waste and fostering a sense of community.
The aim of the event is to encourage people to restore and repair their stuffed animals, instead of throwing them out. The event will also allow members of the community to mix, mingle and connect!
This is beneficial to the community as it reduces waste production, and saves individuals the money that would be used to replace these toys. As well, it provides people with the opportunity to help members of their own communities.
