Collect Old Books And Donate Them to Kids
Promote literacy in young children by hosting this book drive! Get your community to donate books they no longer have use for, and make reading a more accessible activity for youths in your area!
How might this help your community?
Children from low-income communities may not be able to afford a lot of books. This negatively affects the children, as reading and literacy become luxuries they cannot afford.
This project will help build literacy skills and promote the passion for reading in children from low-income families. It will also help children with their literacy skills as they will become better readers, but also help them to become better storytellers.
