Youth help fix bikes and teach basic safety skills to their peers and community members, promoting safe and active transportation.
Encourages safe cycling and responsible road habits
Provides access to functioning bicycles for those in need
Builds practical skills and confidence among youth and community members
This project empowers youth to promote safety, sustainability, and active lifestyles in their community.
Community events, school fairs, or local parks
Bike shops or community centers for hands-on support
Collect bikes in need of repair from the community.
Teach basic bike maintenance skills (brakes, tires, chains).
Host a safety workshop covering helmets, hand signals, and road rules.
Offer simple bike tune-ups and safety checks for attendees.
Encourage follow-up and ongoing bike maintenance.
✓ Basic bike repair tools ($50–$100)
✓ Helmets and safety gear ($20–$50 per participant, optional donations)
✓ Volunteers with mechanical or cycling knowledge (free)
