Organizing a Youth STEM Innovation Lab gives young people the opportunity to work together on science, technology, engineering, and math challenges. Youth can explore topics like coding, robotics, design, or problem-solving while collaborating as a team.
Builds critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Introduces youth to STEM pathways and future careers
Encourages teamwork and innovation
This project creates a hands-on learning environment where youth can explore technology and science in a fun and supportive way.
After school on weekdays or during weekend workshops
Schools, libraries, community centres, or tech hubs
Decide which STEM topics the lab will focus on (coding, engineering, science experiments, etc.).
Secure a space with tables, power outlets, and internet access if needed.
Promote the lab to youth through flyers and social media.
Gather materials such as laptops, building kits, or science supplies.
Invite volunteers or mentors with STEM experience to support youth.
Run the lab and encourage collaboration and creativity.
