Read To & With Children
Promote literacy and connect the community by getting youths to read to and with children. Literacy rates among children have dropped during the pandemic - combat this problem by getting children to practice their reading with older youth in their community!
How might this help your community?
This event will help children practice their reading and boost literacy levels in the community. Many children do not have access to education services outside of school, so this event may help them get the extra help that they need.
It will allow the youth in the community to connect with each other, while also helping children develop their reading skills.
Many older youths may want to volunteer with the children of the community, and you can invite anyone else who would like to volunteer as well.
