Online Banking Safety Information Session
Promote financial literacy and help the elderly adapt to the digital age by teaching senior citizens about online banking safety. The increasing shift of banking to the digital sphere is leaving those with limited knowledge of technology vulnerable to cyber crime - we must break this cycle by helping those get all the financial safety information they can get!
How might this help your community?
Older people may be confused about online banking, and not know the dangers of the internet. Helping these elders provides them with the opportunity to learn more about digital financial spaces while helping them stay safe.
It allows people to learn more about digital financial safety in a judgement-free zone. Many older people are struggling to adapt to the digital age, making them more susceptible to falling for fraudulent activity. They are often targeted when it comes to phishing scams and scam callers.
