There are several reasons young people should experience volunteering within their community. Volunteering can improve one's selflessness, confidence, and community involvement. Be a leader they can look up to about the benefits for volunteering by executing this project.

This project will benefit high school students the most as they will have the chance to obtain their volunteer hours in order to graduate. Their volunteer experience can also help improve their personal development.
When you're younger, you don't necessarily know how much volunteering can benefit you with employment possibilities, networking, and so on.
This gives young people the opportunity to identify something that interests them and may motivate them to volunteer.

Research volunteer opportunities in your province or territory.
Contact the schools who would be interested in participating. Schedule a date for the event.
Contact organizations to have booths at the fair (variety of different opportunities and areas).
Create and print a flyer to advertise in and outside of the schools to inform the students about the upcoming event.
Prepare a list of the organizations that attended and the volunteer opportunities they are offering for students to review.
Purchase snacks to give away for the event.
Run the event!
