Our next leadership camps are in Spring 2025, in-person in downtown Toronto and online
Promote and teach youth early about how to get in touch with their local MPs and MPPs. Knowing more about how to contact your local government officials helps promote civic engagement, which is necessary for any social changes!
Teach the importance of civic engagement and being involved in the government to youth. Often youth feel as if they cannot contribute to any major political change. Learning how to effectively contact MPs and MPPs gives youth the power to fight for the political changes they want to see.
Although youths take mandatory civics classes, many don't know how to get involved with local government. Knowing how to communicate with local MPs and MPPs helps prevent apathy when it comes to participating in politics.
